Snapdragon 625 vs 430
Snapdragon 625 vs 430
Snapdragon 625 vs 430 can never be a fair comparison as both of them belong to a completely different budget series. But considering their similar specifications and great performance, comparing them would not be so unfair after all. Snapdragon 625 and 430 has the same cores but in the case of 625, their clock speed is higher. Snapdragon 625 gets an edge in power efficiency due to its 14nm manufacturing process. Both the GPU and Modem of Snapdragon 625 are better.
But that does not mean Snapdragon is power hungry, overheats or cannot handle games. Snapdragon 430 can provide great battery life for the devices with a Huge Battery like Xiaomi Redmi 3s or Lenovo K6 Power. Also, the gaming performance of Snapdragon 430 is quite good, it can handle all games.

Thank you Kashish! Thanks to your review as well as a few others. Thanks. : )
I am planning to buy a new phone and i have 2 choice
1. Asus zenfone 4 max pro sd 430 5000mAh
2. Xiaomi A1 or Xiaomi 5x sd 625 3080mAh
Which u recommend for better gaming and battery life ??
Thanks
For Gaming, Xiaomi Mi A1 is better but Asus Zenfone 4 Max Pro has a much larger battery. Even though the Mi A1 has lower battery capacity, the processor is power efficient and will consume less battery than the Snapdragon 430. Though the battery will still last longer on Asus Zenfone 4 Max Pro, for overall gaming performance and a decent battery life, I’ll give preference to Mi A1.
